Personal data
When You sign up Play-a-Synth collects the following information:
- E-mail address
- Username for Play-a-Synth
- Password (bcrypt hashed) for Play-a-Synth
- Country
Information about Your equipment
Play-a-Synth collects following information about Your equipment:
- Manufacturer
- Model
- Firmware version
- Name for the equipment
- Description for the equipment
Data logging
When You use Play-a-Synth following information is collected:
- IP-address
- User agent (for example, web browser)
- User agent request (for example, web page request)
How Play-a-Synth uses Your information
Personal data
Your e-mail address won't be shared with third parties, and it is only used by Play-a-Synth to inform you of important changes to the service
and any other uses You have consented to.
Your username can be shown in the Play-a-Synth service to other Play-a-Synth users (for example, in the context of a forum).
Your country information is shown to other users so that Your equipment can be located by other
Play-a-Synth users. You can see all your personal data in the "My profile" view. You can request modification or removal of your personal information through the "Contact" view.
Information about Your equipment
Information about Your equipment is shown to other Play-a-Synth users, so that users can
choose what equipment to play remotely. Anonymous information about the equipment use
can be shared to third parties and to other users of Play-a-Synth.
Data logging
The collected data is used to detect abuse. IP addresses are stored
for two weeks after which they are deleted. However, the IP addresses can not
be connected to your Play-a-Synth account.
Cookies
Play-a-Synth only uses its own session cookies to identify the user.
No third party cookies are used.
